What is the course about & what does it cover?
This one-day intensive course covers the key types of IP with a focus on asset management, practical considerations for licensing and a licensing case study. The course is practically focused, with key learnings reinforced with practical examples and team exercises, including fictional scenarios that allow realistic negotiation practice and licence construction. The course is consistently rated as rewarding, fun and a great learning experience by participants.
“I found the course offered a clear way of classifying intellectual property and married that with the issues and practicality of licensing those associated rights.
Thoroughly recommend it.” – Jacqui Symonds
"The course provided a great deal of insight into the importance and practical realities of intellectual asset management and, building on this, how to take those assets into license negotiations. The practice case studies helped drive home the considerations which are essential for successful technology transfer and licensing strategies. I highly recommend it for anyone operating in this area”
